i’m only really writing this to express my relief after reading mike’s post - at least i’ve written more of that dumb-ass program than him. :D

handy hint - i found the way julian had written the mp3reader didn’t actually work. it seems that the structure it created was too big for my humble PC to deal with. i’ve adjusted it a little, but now i’m considering re-writing most of what i’ve done anyway.
